Magical Woodland 2018

How to Hide a Lion from Grandma

Anderton Firework Spectacular

The Tiger who came to Tea exhibition

Quarry Bank Mill, Wilmslow – until Sun 28th Oct

An exhibition to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Judith Kerr’s classic. You can meet a giant cuddly tiger and make tea for him in an interactive play kitchen. You can also take a look at facsimiles of Judith Kerr’s original illustrations, notes and drawings and watch on film about her remarkable life. Journeys of the Imagination

Quarry Bank Mill, Wilmslow – until Sun 28th Oct

Journeys of the Imagination takes you on an interactive trail around Quarry Bank to discover six stories. In the mill you can continue your adventures in the Exhibition Space. You can get dressed up and act out your very own story, have a go on the swing, hide out under the stars in a wigwam, or have a go at making a moving image spinner. Delamere Forest Babywearing Yoga and Walk

Delamere Forest – Mon 29th Oct 10am – 12pm

We will take in the forest and its offerings while we walk in company of likeminded parents, chat and relax.  During the walk, we will concentrate on the spine and pelvic floor, enabling you to find space and length in your movement, which in turn will help with building core stability. Preschool Craft Club

 Rocket and Orange, Altrincham – Tue 30th Oct 10:30 – 11:30am

Join us for some crafting fun as Rocket and Orange and Paper Town get together for this Preschool Craft Club. The club is aimed at preschool(ish) children and all are welcome that want to get crafty and creative. In our hour long session each week we will talk about the theme together before making our crafts and we always finish with a little singing and a story. Please note, children must be supervised at the session. Places are limited so do book in advance. Tickets are £6 per child (£4 for siblings) and includes a drink and rocket biscuit. Free Cup Cake & Cookie Decorating Drop-In

 Goostrey Home and Leisure, Goostrey – Tue 30th Oct 2pm – 4:30pm

Pop in anytime between 2pm and 4.30pm on Tuesday 30th October to decorate a cupcake or ice a cookie to take home with you. There is no charge although a small voluntary donation to MacMillan Cancer Support would be gratefully received. Pre-booking not necessary. Half Term Farm Fun Session

 Riverside Organic Farm, Northwich – Tue 30th & Weds 31st Oct 11am, Thurs 1st & Fri 2nd Nov 1:30pm

Come and enjoy some fun on the farm! Each child will choose a handmade ornament from our collection to paint and leave to dry while we take our farm walk. (These can be taken home on the day). This is a great opportunity to get a guided tour around the animals on our farm, feeding and petting as we go along. Don’t forget your wellies and coats – we will carry on come rain or shine! £7 per child, please book. Coffee Morning for Mummy’s Star

A coffee morning to raise awareness of and money for the wonderful charity ‘Mummy’s Star’.  Hosted by Knutsford mum, Alice. Mummy’s Star is the only charity of its kind, dedicated to supporting women diagnosed with cancer during pregnancy or shortly after their baby has been born. They will be asking for a donation of £5 on the day which includes hot drinks and unlimited cake! Children welcome too, in order to assist with cake consumption. There will also be a raffle, with some great prizes which we will announce over the coming weeks. Click for more details

Twilight Night at Reaseheath Zoo
