Outdoor parade may close before Halloween* Unfortunately most of our own pumpkins have not grown and we don’t have a genuine pumpkin patch to pick from. Instead, we have a ‘pumpkin parade’ – an outdoor field with rows of harvested pumpkins laid out for you to choose from!  We have a huge range of pumpkins of all shapes, sizes and colours! From Saturday 12th we will also have a pumpkin carving area open. Entry to the parade area is free; pumpkins vary in cost from £2 to £10+. It is World Lemur Day 2019 on the 25th October. So to celebrate we are hosting a day of Lemur fun on Saturday 26th October. Just come and visit the zoo in our normal zoo opening hours. There will be lots of Lemur themed activities from leaping like them, face painting and lots more! We may be asking for a donation for some of the activities as we will be raising money for the Madagascar Fauna and Flora Group. Click for more details

Mill Trail: Become a Factory Inspector

When Ravana the ten-headed demon draws darkness over the world, can Rama and Sita’s love and courage bring back a glimmer of light? Forest Tribe Dance Theatre brings new relevance to the ancient tale of Rama and Sita. Mini Professors Halloween Special

Halloween is fast approaching so we will be taking part in some spooky science fun. Your 2,3,4 or 5 year old can join us (although siblings are welcome) as we investigate our skeleton, bendy bones and create some gooey slime while understanding some of the science behind it. Tickets are £6.50 each or siblings can be booked for £5 each (please email).
