It’s Halloween!!! Coffee Morning for Mummy’s Star

Railway Inn, Mobberley – Weds 31st Oct 10am-12pm

A coffee morning to raise awareness of and money for the wonderful charity ‘Mummy’s Star’.  Hosted by Knutsford mum, Alice. Mummy’s Star is the only charity of its kind, dedicated to supporting women diagnosed with cancer during pregnancy or shortly after their baby has been born. They will be asking for a donation of £5 on the day which includes hot drinks and unlimited cake! Children welcome too, in order to assist with cake consumption. There will also be a raffle, with some great prizes which we will announce over the coming weeks. Click for more details

Messy Church

Knutsford Methodist Church, Knutsford – Weds 31st October 10:30am

Come and join us for Messy Church – “Wonderfully Made.” Various crafts/activities followed by a meal in the church hall. For more details contact the church office on 01565 652251.

Pumpkins and Broomsticks

Delamere Forest – Wed 31st Oct 10-11:30am and 12:30 – 2pm

Join us to carve your pumpkins for Halloween this year and make a witches broom from forest materials. We will finish toasting marshmallows on the fire! Small pumpkins and all materials are provided. Take home your carved pumpkin and your broomstick. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Please note children may need help with preparing their pumpkin and with the carving. £8.70 per child. Half Term Farm Fun Session

 Riverside Organic Farm, Northwich – Tue 30th & Weds 31st Oct 11am, Thurs 1st & Fri 2nd Nov 1:30pm

Come and enjoy some fun on the farm! Each child will choose a handmade ornament from our collection to paint and leave to dry while we take our farm walk. (These can be taken home on the day). This is a great opportunity to get a guided tour around the animals on our farm, feeding and petting as we go along. Don’t forget your wellies and coats – we will carry on come rain or shine! £7 per child, please book. Gruffalo’s Child

Storyhouse Theatre, Chester – Tues 30th & Weds 31st Oct

No Gruffalo should ever set foot in the deep dark wood…Join the Gruffalo’s Child on her adventurous mission in Tall Stories’ magical, musical adaptation of the much-loved picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. Knutsford’s Pumpkin Path

Knutsford town centre – Weds 31st Oct 4pm-7pm FREE

Knutsford celebrates Halloween each year by holding it’s FREE family friendly Pumpkin Path parade starting at King Street from 4pm and finishing at 7pm. Find the Pumpkins, spot the spooks, enjoy the treats and atmosphere along the way. Hand in your entry form at the end for a chance to win a prize. Family Lantern Lit Forest Walk

Delamere Forest – Wed 31st Oct 4:30 – 6:30pm

Make autumn lanterns and use them to guide you in the forest and light up the fire circle whilst we make popcorn on the fire. Follow the trail and collect letters along the way, what will it spell out?! We will also play Halloween themed games at this family evening event. We encourage dressing up at this event as we will not be sitting too close to the fire. Suitable for families with children over 5 years. £10.20 per child, £2.20 per adult. Booking required. Magical Woodland 2018

An interactive light and music experience with live performances set in a 15 acre Cheshire Woodland. Experience the beauty and magic of the woodland as never before! Tickets from £12.50. Ghostly Goings-On at Quarry Bank

Join us for a week of Halloween fun. Scare yourself on a spooky tour of the Apprentice House and toast a ghostly marshmallow over a campfire. In the mill you can dress up and ‘snap a spook’ or join in with haunting crafts. Activities will take place at the Apprentice House and within the Learning Space. Tegg’s Nose Country Park Halloween Trail

Some spooky visitors are visiting the park this half-term! Can you explore the park and find them all? Buy a map from the Tegg’s Nose Tea Room for 50p, and get searching around the top of the park. Spooky World Fun by Day

Apple Jack’s Adventure Farm, Warrington – Sat 20th Oct – Weds 31st Oct

Halloween events for kids aged from 4 to 11. Visitors can wander the site enjoying all the attractions on the farm whilst meeting Halloween characters (NO scare actors present during the daytime events). Follow Blakemere’s spooky trail to discover the hidden items left here by the Zombie Pirates many years ago. For Each Activity Trail completed an Activity Prize will be won. Spooktacular Fun on the Farm

The whole farm has had spooky makeover!  Our (not so wicked) Witch will be taking residence in her spooky house, ready to play trick or treat with those brave enough to venture in; you can carve your own pumpkins, take part in our fabulous fancy dress competitions, and enjoy a few treats (or tricks!) along the way! All the activities are aimed at the youngsters and the focus is on having fun rather than being scared …well, not too scared! Click for more details
