Tegg’s Nose Butterfly Walk

Tegg’s Nose, Macclesfield
Sat 27th July 11am – 1pm

Family wildlife walk around the top of Tegg’s Nose Country Park to look for and learn more about some of the park’s resident butterfly species and, if we are lucky, seeing the scarce local speciality, namely, the Wall butterfly. Booking and payment in advance essential. Tractor Fun Festival

Bents Garden & Home, Glazebury
Sat 27th July 11am – 4pm

We will once again play host to the village’s fourth Tractor festival when scores of vintage tractors and other agricultural machinery will be on show to raise funds for All Saints Church, Glazebury and Bents’ 2019 Charity of the Year Once Upon a Smile. The day will start at 11am on the car park when the tractors – ancient and modern – will be on show along with stalls and other entertainment. We will also have a range of activities including; nail in the bale, hook a duck, guess how many balloons in the tractor and face painting! Big Bugs at intu Trafford Centre

Have you ever wondered what tiny little insects really look like up close? This is your chance to see 12 giant, intricately-designed and extremely lifelike bugs up close as these giant bugs will be placed around the centre for ‘little explorers’ to find! From honeybees to ladybirds, you’ll have the chance to examine the features of these magnificent creatures without the need for a magnifying glass, they are wonderfully realistic, so feel free to inspect them closely! Summer at Tatton Park Farm

Tatton Park Farm, Knutsford

Summer activities filled with fun at the Farm! Learn more about Field to Fork and where your food comes from, meet our newly hatched chicks in the hatchery and meet our new arrivals in our daily farmyard facts. This summer we are running our courtyard activities!  This includes animals to see, the barrel train ride, giant inflatable pillow, climbing wall, a giant sand pit and fleet of pedal cars! Prices are £10 for 3 yrs plus, and £5 for 1-2 yrs.  Adults go free. Ultimate Brick Safari

This summer the Ultimate Brick Safari is coming to Knowsley Safari. Over 80 lifesize animal sculptures made from LEGO® bricks will be popping up on our Foot Safari! Search amongst our real meerkats, bushdogs, giraffe and more to find these LEGO® brick creations, marking them off on your map as you go! Predators at Chester Zoo
