Walking with The Snowman

Media City, Salford
22nd Nov to 6th Jan

Walking with The Snowman is a free Christmas sculpture trail around MediaCityUK to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Raymond Briggs’ classic picture book The Snowman. This family-friendly trail will feature twelve giant sculptures inspired by the song The Twelve Days of Christmas. A collection of smaller Snowman sculptures will be displayed inside The Open Centre at MediaCityUK, the Lowry Outlet and The Lowry. They will be designed by local children and young people and will be displayed from 8 December 2018 until 13 January 2019. Click for more details

Gauntlet Birds of Prey Festive Opening Times

Come down to Gauntlet Birds of Prey Eagle and Vulture Park this Christmas time! See the birds fly in a demonstration, warm by the fire with a hot drink and mince pie, and let the kids run off some steam on the play area! We will be open every day Thursday 27th – Monday 31st December. Weekdays we will be open 11am – 3pm with a display at 12:30pm, and weekends 11am – 4pm with displays at 12:30pm and 3pm. Winter Safari £20 per car

This winter it’s just £20 per car onto the safari drive and FREE entry to the foot safari! So what does that mean? For just £20, a car full of up to 7 people (seated in a car seat) can come along on safari for an adventure around the safari drive! No car? The foot safari will be free to enter all winter. A Little Christmas Trail for Families

Pick up an entry form at the Knutsford Heritage Centre then find the pictures Father Christmas has left in Knutsford shops he has visited! Post your completed form (along with a letter to Santa if you have one!) in the big red post box at the Centre, and you may win a mystery prize!
