*SOME DATES BOOKED OUT* In the summer holidays, we’ll be taking guided educational walks around our fruit and vegetable fields. Our Junior Farmers will: Visit a variety of fruit and vegetable fields at their summer-time best, learn from our teachers all about how they grow: from planting to pollination to producing to picking, build a ‘bug hotel’ to take home to encourage insects to pollinate plants where you live! We have different sessions for ages 3-5 & 5-13 years old, but won’t enforce age restrictions so don’t worry if bringing range of ages! £5.50 per child. The Big Bad Bear Hunt

World Tiger Day 2019

Wand Making Workshop

Are you a budding witch, wizard, conjurer or magician? Come along to make your own special magic wand in this exciting workshop. You will be taught to use a shave horse and will use this to create your wand. Must be pre-booked. Tickets are £5 but you will also be required to pay park entry on arrival (£7.00 per vehicle). Fairy Trail & Craft

Come and enjoy some fairy fun on the farm! Each child will create a unique rustic fairy craft (These can be taken home on the day), then we will take a walk around the fairy door trail and see some of our animals along the way. This is a great opportunity to get a guided tour around our magical fairy trail – a fun experience for the whole family. Don’t forget your wings & wellies – we will do the walk in all but the worst weather so bring weather appropriate clothing! £8 per participating child. Fiver Fridays at Runway Visitor Park

Everyone loves a cheap family day out and the Runway Visitor Park is offering a special treat every Friday in August. Meet the Animals Farm Walk

Come for a morning out in the fresh air and get up close and hands on with our friendly four legged residents. Learn about the jobs a farmer does and life on the farm, as we take a walk around the farm, feeding and petting the animals as we go. Aimed at at ages 2-7 years old but younger and older children are welcome! Babies under 1 are free of charge. PLEASE BOOK ONLINE – we may not be able to accommodate you if you just turn up on the day! £6 per participated child (1 accompanying adult free of charge). Fairy Nightlight Painting

Come and enjoy some fairy fun! This is a paint along session for Fairy nightlight jars. We will guide you through how to paint your magical fairy jar. This takes approximately 1 hour and is £12 Per person (suitable for age 5+). Space Chase Reading Challenge

Taking part in the Challenge is simple – when your summer holidays start, you can sign up for free at your local library. You’ll receive your very own Space Chase mission folder to get you started. Read six library books (or more!) over the holidays to collect special stickers to add to your folder.  Collect all the stickers to find the aliens, save the missing books and complete the Challenge. Grab your space suit and take a giant leap into the library this summer! Mill Trail: Become a Factory Inspector

Become a factory inspector and have a go at our family trail around the mill created by children’s author Philip Ardagh. Join factory inspector Augustus Snout and his assistant Scuttle on an inspection of the mill.
