Egerton Soccer Camps offer the perfect opportunity for children to stay active and take part in fun, organised football based activities and games during the school holidays. National Trust at 125: Tree Planting

Quarry Bank Mill, Wilmslow
Thurs 20th Feb 11am – 3pm

The National Trust was created 125 years ago to enable people to be able to access green spaces forever, for everyone. At the start of this year, we pledged to be carbon neutral by 2030. One of the ways in which we’ll be achieving this is by planting 20 million trees over the next ten years – 40,000 of which will be at Quarry Bank. This event is suitable for older children accompanied by an adult. The event takes place at Bank House Farm. Please follow directional signage from the Mill Yard. Please dress appropriately for the weather and with footwear suitable for a steep walk up a muddy path. Click for more details

Scarecrow Festival

The theme for this year’s Tatton Park Scarecrow Festival is Sporting Heroes, in celebration of the 2020 Olympics.  These wonderful scarecrows are located throughout the Gardens for you to find! Then venture down to The Farm to continue the scarecrow trail. Here, in amongst the paddocks, stables and farmyard you’ll find scarecrows capturing famous moments, with sporting heroes and – of course – their animals. Please check opening times on the website. Once upon a time your favourite Superheroes & Princesses embarked on an adventure around Blakemere Village…a magical spell was cast, and they were all frozen in time! This spell has now been lifted leaving them all stranded! We need your HELP ‘Trainee Superheroes & Princesses’ to re-assemble the team! The Monkey Forest Reopens

Under the Sea Week

For our Under the Sea Week we have stories, songs, dance, fantastic crafts and messy play all included. PLUS, for the slightly older children we’re running some special Lego Builder Classes in the Ark. There’s a small extra charge for these (£3) to cover the cost of the Lego model that you get to keep! We do recommend pre-booking space in these classes on the website as they’re very limited. You can book admission and these classes on our website..
