Tractors Galore!

A brand new Junior Farmers session and for any little tractor fanatics may be the most exciting yet! We’ll be getting up-close and personal with an assortment of real working tractors and noisy farm machinery. As usual we’ll be mixing a little education with a lot of fun, and during the 45 minute session we’ll learn all about how the different machines work, see them in action as well as having some cool photo opportunities.  Limited availability, £5.75 per child and must be booked in advance. The Gruffalo’s Child

Journey with us to the deep dark wood as The Gruffalo’s Child goes on a little adventure.
Suitable for babies & young children this is a great family event filled with music, interactive storytelling & lots of fun! We encourage fancy dress and bringing your own copy of the book! With lots of space for little ones to wander whilst joining in with the event there’ll also be Gruffalo activities to take part in from our StoryBasket.

Bing! Live at the Lowry

Calling all Bingsters! Bing and his friends are coming to Salford in the first ever Bing stage show!  Join Bing, Sula, Coco and Pando as they find out how to tell stories by pretending, dressing-up and singing songs. Flop and Amma are there to help, but in this magical world of make-believe things don’t always go according to plan. Charlie & The Chocolate Factory Pyjama Club

Treehouse, Altrincham

Every fortnight we run a pyjama club so you can enjoy date night in style! Kids can enjoy 30 minutes of supervised play or activity with our hosts, followed by a 90 minute children’s film. This weekend the film is Charlie & the Chocolate Factory (2005 version with Johnny Depp). Kids get creative and decorate chocolate with anything from edible glitter to sprinkles to popping candy, and then settle down to watch. Winter Woolies Family Trail

Oh no! The Finch Family have missed their flight south and are stuck in England during the winter. Can you help them? Keep an eye out for the birds tiny hats, scarves, jumpers and mittens which are lost amongst the trees and bushes as you explore the gardens. Spot some ‘Feathery Facts’ along the way to learn more about birds and their habitats.  Pick up a trail from the garden kiosk. Complete the trail and collect a prize at the end! Winter Safari £20 per car

Knowsley Safari Park, Knowsley

This winter it’s just £20 per car onto the safari drive and FREE entry to the foot safari! So what does that mean? For just £20, a car full of up to 7 people (seated in a car seat) can come along on safari for an adventure around the safari drive! No car? The foot safari will be free to enter all winter. This is where our Brand New Amur Tiger Trail is situated! Open Weds – Sun and every day in school holidays, except Christmas/Boxing/New Year’s Day. Click for more details
