Fundraising Summer BBQ

Head to Knutsford Fire Station on Saturday for the Knutsford Emergency Services Day! Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service, Cheshire Police and North West Ambulance Service have joined together to showcase their services. RHS Flower Show Tatton Park

The RHS Flower Show is back at Tatton Park and will be a celebration of all things big, beautiful and bug-filled! There will be the iconic back to back gardens (6x4m plots each with its own unique and quirky design), a Dahlia experience with over 5,000 blooms, the Floral Marquee brimming with flowers and foliage and much much more! Anderton Pirate Festival

We’re getting ready for our biggest pirate invasion yet!! The swashbuckling ‘Pirate Brethren’ will take over the grounds of the Boat Lift with a whole weekend of FREE, action-packed family-fun. Be amazed by thrilling displays of cannon, pistol and blunderbuss firing, sword fighting and much more. There will also be a ‘Pirate Tavern’ with card and dice games, stories and songs galore. as well as a tent with a hands-on display of genuine pirate artefacts where little scallwags will be taught all about the pirate way of life and encouraged to have their photos taken with the Brethren! Click for more details

Donkey Sanctuary Open Day

Get up close with our resident herd of 18 donkeys and learn more about their wonderful behaviour. You’ll also be able to meet two key members of our herd, Henry and Tiny Tim, and even adopt them to help us continue reaching donkeys worldwide. We will also be holding a Companion Dog Show, so bring your dog along and enter! Tayberries, blackcurrants, sugar snaps, mangetout and broad beans will be available all week. Raspberries will be available intermittently – it’s just the start of their season. Once the main outdoor strawberry season has finished, there will be indoor strawberries available to pick intermittently later in July and August.
