Farmer Christmas

Get into the seasonal spirit with a hands-on session all about Christmas down on the farm. We’ll be having lots of fun while we learn, with the 45 minute session including a workshop to make a natural tree decoration, educational tour of our indoor Christmas tree forest and getting dirty hands planting a winter bulb to care for at home. Spaces are limited, tickets cost £5.50 per child (£4.50 on Friday) and must be booked in advance. Click for more details.

Join us for a day of festivities at Plumleys! Bring the children down to see the big man himself arrive via tractor at 11:30am with his elves! There will be live carol singing and facepainting. Toast marshmallows, enjoy a hog roast or choose your family Christmas tree. Get ticking off your gift list with local businesses’ homemade gifts or produce, and visit the cafe for mulled wine and festive food! The Bethlehem Experience

Bethlehem Experience

This year we will be hosting our first ever ‘Bethlehem Experience,’ an interactive walk through of the Christmas story! Visitors will be guided through different rooms, from heaven to the stable, getting to meet all the Nativity characters along the way. Drop in any time between 1 and 4pm on 30th November (the same day as the Knutsford lights switch-on). This is a free event and suitable for all ages!  Click for more details

Father Christmas at the Farm

A holiday favourite, children can meet Father Christmas and his elf helpers along with our rare breed farmyard friends. Music from choirs and brass bands fill the air, and there’s a children’s entertainer and storytelling to enjoy. Don’t forget to pose on Santa’s sleigh for a photo and visit Aunt Mary in her cosy cottage. Reindeer Prancer and Dancer will take centre stage in the traditional live nativity,. Have a go at making your own magic reindeer feed in the restored Mill.
