Christmas Tree Festival at St Cross Church

There’s another fabulously festive weekend in store for Knutsford, with the Christmas Tree Festival, Lantern Parade and Crib Service!! Bents, Walton Hall & Gardens and Cotebrook Shire Centre also have wonderful Christmas weekends planned and Father Christmas will be very busy popping in to lots of venues! Knutsford Christmas Tree Festival

St Cross Church, Knutsford
Fri 7th Dec to Sunday 9th Dec

The Festival is a wonderful community event! There will be trees decorated by different organisations using their own chosen theme and displayed for visitors to view.  Funds raised will go towards supporting the Knutsford Lions. Opening times are Friday 12 noon to 6pm, Saturday 10am to 5pm and Sunday 11.30am to 4pm with carol singing at 3.15pm. Come along and see the wonderful Christmas Trees and get into the spirit of Christmas!

Knutsford Lantern Parade and Crib Service

Knutsford Town
Saturday 8th Dec 5pm – 6:30pm

The parade will set off at 5pm from the Barncroft behind St Cross Church and parade through the town centre led by exciting feature lanterns, which will bring a real wow factor! Let your imagination run wild to create your own lantern design, use the Council template, or bring one you made at our workshop to join in the fun.

The Christmas Crib is blessed and carols sung as part of the Crib Service on Saturday 8th Dec at 5.45pm, immediately following the Lantern Parade. Led by the local churches with an introduction from the Mayor.  The Crib is located outside The Lost & Found. Click for more details.

Light Father Christmas’ route as he pays a special visit to the Stableyard. Buy a lovely lantern in our Gift shop, or make your own (instructions on our website) to light his way as he glides in on the special Santa sleigh. Bents Festive Family Fun Weekend

Bents, Glazebury

Come and see Santa’s reindeer and enjoy festive face painting, fairground rides and entertainers! Santa himself will also be walking round meeting and greeting! Children’s activities all free! Grown ups can enjoy a glass of hot punch with mince pies, on sale for Bents’ Charity of the Year. Bents’ Winter Food Market will also be in full flow with lots of festive treats, making it the perfect place to dine with all members of the family! Meet Santa at Waugh Brow Farm

Why not visit the farm this Sunday to see Santa, who has taken time out of his busy schedule to pop into the farm! £3.50 per child. No need to book as there is plenty to do if there is a queue, including mulled wine, carols, hot pork, apple sauce and stuffing baps and Baileys hot chocolates, together with the famous Jonesy breakfasts! Father Christmas at Tatton Farm

Children can meet Father Christmas and his elf helpers along with our rare breed farmyard friends. Music from choirs and brass bands fills the air and there’s a children’s entertainer and storytelling to enjoy. Don’t forget to pose on Santa’s sleigh for a photo! Special admission price £7 per adult (incl NT Members), £6.50 per child (aged 0-15, includes a gift). Pick up an entry form at the Knutsford Heritage Centre then find the pictures Father Christmas has left in Knutsford shops he has visited! Post your completed form (along with a letter to Santa if you have one!) in the big red post box at the Centre, and you may win a prize! Entry £1, all children must be accompanied by an adult. Father Christmas has arrived! A visit to Narnia costs £7.50 which includes a gift and at least 2 hours play time at The Hideaway or £8.50 including a child’s meal if you visit between 3.30pm – 5.30pm Mon-Fri. The grotto is open all day Thurs, Fri and Sat from 30th Nov and after school on Mon, Tue & Weds from 10th Dec. You can pre-book on our website to avoid having to queue or be disappointed.
